I am married to the best human I have ever met - Crystal.

We have 5 kids, (4 boys and 1 girl). We love leading through the depth of our marriage and pace of our family.

We live by “We are loved to love.”

Jesus transformed my life after years of living in darkness and in sin.

I am forever grateful for new life in Christ.

I like sports, sci-fi, random podcasts, watching beatbox videos, dancing with our daughter, playing all-time QB with the boys, and date nights with Crystal.

I love City Life because of the people. I love the intentionality to be community through diversity in age, class, and ethnicity. That creates a special community and flavor that we are honored to be involved in.

This passage is impacting me a lot in this season. It requires me to trust God in every moment and be content in Jesus.

“I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I find myself. I know how to make do with little, and I know how to make do with a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:11-13 CSB

Also a life verse for me is Matthew 6:33. This one just never gets old and makes the starting line very clear.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” Matthew 6:33 CSB

I pray,

"Our community is one that receives and believes all God has for us. That we abide in Christ alone.

That our depth with Jesus is tangibly displayed with each person we meet daily.

That small is big and big is small.

That one is the biggest number.

One is you. One is me.

We are one."

Sour patch kids for sure and I wish they were healthy. Also homemade popcorn on the daily (best way - peanut oil with fresh jalapeños in the oil first...)

This should be spiritual right? If so Passion of the Christ!
